Craniosacral Therapy fits under the umbrella of Manual Therapy; hands-on assessment and technique based on palpation findings. Beyond the musculo-skeletal system, Craniosacral Therapy goes deeper to the Craniosacral system, made up of fluids and membranes that surround, nourish and protect the nervous system, brain, and spine.

Cerebral spinal fluid (csf) in particular facilitates the higher glands and communication between them. This fluid maintains the nervous, immune, lymph, endocrine, and musculoskeletal systems. When the Cranial system is happy, every system is happy. This therapy helps your body administer its own resources to overcome symptoms or stagnation.

The movement of our inner waters can be felt, owing to our highly specialized hands and fingertips, uniquely advantaged to perceive this movement. We call the movement of the waters "the fluid drive, " and a Craniosacral therapist can find its movement anywhere in the body.

The mouth, neck, ear, jaw, teeth, and nose areas are critical for breathing, drinking, eating, hearing, talking, balance, body language, expression and more. Please note that we cannot keep your appointment if you arrive 20 minutes after the appointment time. We will either reschedule or cancel your appointment in that case, a cancellation fee of $75 will occur. Check with your insurance company to confirm if you have this provision. They may have instructions, or a special form you will need to submit the superbill I will provide you.
