For most appointments with our veterinarians, we are allowing one pet parent per appointment to come into the building at this time. Small children may come with you. We will still be using the numbered parking spaces so please call 671-3400 when you arrive. We will notify you by phone to let you know when you may enter the building.
If you need help getting multiple pets inside for the appointment, we are happy to assist you. If you prefer to remain in your car during the appointment for safety or convenience, we are happy to continue serving your needs via curbside service. We do ask that you wear a face mask inside the building if you are not completely vaccinated.

Our Family
Report
I was born and raised in Valrico, Florida and my family roots in Florida extend back to late 1800's. I first remember wanting to be a veterinarian in 4th grade. I was strongly influenced by the memory of the farm vets who came to treat our livestock. I have always had a love of science and a soft spot for animals.

Thanks to advancements in veterinary care, today's cats can live well into their teen years. It is not uncommon for cats to live to be 18 or even older. However, in order for cats to live a long full life, they need proactive veterinary care to stay healthy. Feline leukemia (FeLV) is a virus that weakens your cat's immune system.
Thinking Outside the Basket
Report
As the Easter holiday approaches, several considerations are in order for your pet's safety. There are a number of different potential health hazards, such as chocolates, sugary candies, small toys, and basket stuffing, which can pose a serious threat to your household pets. It is important to monitor your pets closely, especially when offering them special treats of their own for the holiday season.
Rabies...Don't Let Your Guard Down
Report
Rabies is one of those diseases that always lurks just below the radar. Out of sight and out of mind most of the time. However, the recent human exposures in North Tampa, resulting from a rabid feral cat, should be a reminder that this disease is always out there, and always a threat to our pets, our families and our friends.
