Ellsworth Family Law, P.C. was established in 2003 by Mr. Ellsworth, a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of Arizona, as a specialty law firm providing legal representation in all Family Law Matters. Since that time the firm has grown to include two additional attorneys, Glenn D. Halterman, who is also a Certified Family Law Specialist, and F. Taylor Larson, who also handles family law and personal injury matters.

There are 9 community property states: Arizona, California, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin. Alaska is an opt-in community property state that gives both parties the option to make their property community property at the time they are married.

In 2020 the Arizona Supreme Court created a new rule that will allow for non-attorney licensed individuals to represent people in a limited legal capacity.
