McClelland Small Animal Hospital is the oldest existing and operating animal hospital in Buffalo, New York. Our pet hospital provides care for cats, dogs, ferrets and some pocket pets. We also offer pet boarding, kenneling, and pet grooming as well as emergency vet services. We pride ourselves in excellent client communication, education, and service.

Dr. Matthew Marc Souza was born and raised in southeastern Massachusetts. He received his Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Animal Science, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, then went on to receive his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Daisy actually gets excited when she realizes she's walking into the vet. A few months ago we decided to bring Daisy in for an emergency visit because she was acting off.
