About Us

Established in the late 80's, Keene Road Pet Hospital has been serving pets and their owners in Clearwater and the greater Tampa Bay area for more than 25 years. The practice grew quickly as Dr Cowden and his wife Lynda were able to offer sincere friendly down home personal care in the cute little house with wooden floors at the corner of Keene Road and Gulf to Bay.
Testimonials
Report
We recently took our dog and cat to "A Pet's Place" for their annual physical. We are very pleased and impressed with Dr. Cowden and his staff. Dr. Cowden was gentle, patient, and highly competent. He answered all of our questions and personally called the next day to let us know the results of the lab tests.

Why is my pet itching
Report
Occasional itching is a fact of life for dogs or cats. It's a natural response to dry skin, contact with an insect or other stimuli. Frequent or constant itching, however, may be a sign of a skin disease. Allergies, fleas, infection, mites and other diseases may all cause itching in your dog or cat.
