Services
Wellness Care
Our wellness care program focuses on preventive medicine through bi-annual exams, customized vaccination plans, and early disease detection. We tailor care to each life stage, from puppy/kitten visits to senior pet monitoring. This proactive approach helps maintain optimal health and extends pets' lifespans.
Diagnostics
We offer comprehensive diagnostic services including in-house lab work, radiology, and ECG capabilities. These tools help identify internal issues when pets can't communicate symptoms. We also access specialized labs for advanced testing to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely treatment.
Boarding
Our boarding facility provides safe, comfortable accommodations with separate areas for dogs and cats. Dogs receive three daily walks while cats enjoy cage-free spaces with climbing structures. We offer complimentary baths after five-day stays and maintain strict vaccination requirements for all guests.
Pet Pain Management
We develop customized pain management plans using physical exams, neurological evaluations, and radiographs. Our approach addresses pain from arthritis, injuries, or surgeries through medication, therapy, and alternative treatments to improve pets' quality of life.
General Surgery
Our surgical services include routine procedures like spays/neuters and complex soft tissue surgeries. We utilize modern equipment and techniques to ensure safe, effective operations. Pre-anesthetic bloodwork and post-operative care are included to minimize risks and promote recovery.

Took my two cats here 3 years ago after travel and they got uti. Great service but sold us a natural supplement in addition to a broad spectrum antibiotic. 3 years later, the new city hall construction begins. My one female that's 5 years old starts to stress pee. Stays in litterbox for 10 minutes straining. I took her back to highland animal hospital and they put her on amiltriptyline PLUS told me she must have a rabies shot by law. She already had her shot when getting her fixed! She has never been outdoors and during her first visit to you, she did not require by law a shot at your facility

Our little Australian Shepherd has been feeling yucky and the staff and Dr. Brett have been very helpful and very caring. We got to the point where they just couldn't get to the root cause and sent us to a specialist. We got unfortunate news and she was diagnosed with cancer. Even with treatment she will not survive. We talked to Dr. Brett and he assured us he and his staff are here for us in any way they can help. We have been clients of Highland Animal Hospital for a very long time and they have been nothing but loving and caring. We are very grateful for them and know we can count on them to

I thought everything was fine 10 days went by like they said and that it should take care of it but it didn't. FINE! I called to see if they could give a antibiotic for what ever remained because he is still in pain. I spoke to the veterinarian and he was rude not at first but I said I couldn't afford another 160.00 and he said no matter what he wouldn't help me unless I brought him back in and pay them more money. They didn't even show on their records the ear test they did so I was charged for something they didn't even do. Wish I could give a zero stars. I would not recommend this place. It
