Medical Services
Our diagnostic and treatment services address pet health conditions through advanced tools like radiology, ultrasonography, and endocrinology testing. Skilled veterinarians manage chronic issues while providing compassionate care for acute illnesses. Services include dermatology treatments, cardiology assessments, and dental care to maintain overall pet wellness.
Surgical Services
We perform spay/neuter procedures, soft tissue surgeries, and orthopedic operations. Cryosurgery removes skin growths while maintaining patient comfort. Complex cases receive board-certified specialist referrals. Pre-anesthetic bloodwork ensures safe anesthesia for all surgical patients in our well-equipped facility.
Preventive Services
Year-round flea, tick, and heartworm prevention protects pets from parasitic diseases. Regular wellness exams detect early signs of illness. We recommend annual vaccinations and parasite screenings to maintain optimal health for dogs and cats in the Lake Travis area.
Microchipping
Permanent microchip implantation increases lost pet recovery chances. The rice-sized device stores contact information accessible through universal scanners at shelters and veterinary clinics. We recommend combining microchips with traditional ID tags for enhanced pet safety.
Nutritional Counseling
Customized nutrition plans address specific dietary needs for puppies, kittens, and giant breed dogs. We evaluate commercial pet foods to recommend balanced options meeting life stage requirements. Specialized diets help manage weight and chronic conditions through proper nutrition.

They have always responded to our pets needs. The most recent event was an emergency. They worked us right in, went to work helping our dog and even charged it to the card no. from our last visit so we could get our dog, Finn home quickly and make him comfortable quickly. Whats not to like about Lake Travis Animal Hospital? Been coming here for years. The vets are dedicated professionals who love animals. They handle your pets tenderly and knowledgeably. The staff is equally as professional and caring. Bringing an ailing pet through their doors will have you breathing a sigh of relief by the time you leave. You will know you are in good hands.

Their staff is very caring and professional. Our dog started drooling excessively and we were concerned she had eaten something poisonous. They fit her into the schedule, held her for observation, and gave her excellent treatment. I am incredibly thankful for the doctors and staff. I will definitely be using them for all of our veterinary needs.
