Art & Clarity

Art & Clarity is a fine photography and video production company dedicated to capturing the essence of our clients through artistry, experience, and professionalism. With over three decades of combined expertise, owners Janna Waldinger and Lowell Downey deliver technical excellence infused with dramatic light and emotional impact, serving clients from the west coast to the east coast and internationally. Our portfolio spans wedding photography, corporate branding, architectural imagery, product photography, and environmental storytelling, reflecting a commitment to creating images that help clients show up and shine in their best light. We specialize in blending the science of light with creative techniques to produce bold, vivid visuals for personal, business, and nonprofit organizations. Our global reach extends across four continents, with assignments taking us from New York City to Napa, Dubai to India, and beyond.

We also offer custom photography adventures and educational workshops to teach the art of seeing, catering to individuals, families, and corporate teams. Every project begins with a collaborative consultation to understand client vision, followed by a tailored creative process that ensures results exceeding expectations. Our videography services add dynamic storytelling to client narratives, combining Jannas photographic expertise with Lowells theater background to create emotionally resonant content. From intimate portraits to large-scale events, we approach every assignment with the spirit of opening night, ensuring clients receive imagery that transcends the ordinary. Our dedication to quality is matched only by our passion for helping clients connect with their audiences through powerful visual communication.
