Barre Centric
Do you find yourself dreading going to the gym to workout? Or maybe you make it to the gym, but waste time roaming around searching for a machine or debating which muscle groups to work? These days especially, it can feel intimidating and nerve wrecking to reach your fitness goals in such a big space.

All you have to do is show up, and our certified and motivating instructors will take you through a full-body, low-impact workout in just 55 minutes or less. You will leave our studio feeling stronger, balanced, more flexible, and full of energy to take on the rest of your busy day. We are Gia and Rachael and we created Barre Centric after feeling so frustrated from trying to stay in shape in our "post-dance" days of our lives.

Our main workout class fuses ballet, Pilates, yoga and orthopedic stretching to achieve strength, flexibility and balance. The class uses a blend of concentric and eccentric movements with isometric exercises to fatigue the muscles and lengthening stretches to increase their flexibility. Stemming from the Lotte Berk Method, this workout is sure to produce long, lean and toned muscles similar to that of a dancer's body.

All of our classes combine core conditioning, the Lotte Berk Method, yoga, Pilates and orthopedic stretching to achieve strength, flexibility and balance. The class is broken down into 4 sections- warmup, thighs, seat, and abdominals, using a blend of concentric and eccentric movements and isometric exercises to fatigue the muscles and lengthening stretches to increase flexibility.
