Services
Wellness Exams
Preventive wellness exams detect early health issues through comprehensive physical evaluations. Our veterinarians assess vital organs, dental health, and overall wellness. Annual exams recommended for adult pets, with increased frequency for seniors or puppies/kittens.
Veterinary Dentistry
Professional dental cleanings and oral health assessments prevent periodontal disease. Services include scaling, polishing, extractions, and digital dental X-rays. Regular care reduces risks of heart and kidney complications in pets.
Dermatology
Diagnosis and treatment of skin allergies, infections, and parasites. Our vets utilize advanced diagnostic tools for ear issues, coat problems, and chronic itching. Solutions include medicated treatments and hypoallergenic diet recommendations.
Emergency Services
Critical care for accidents, poisoning, or sudden illness during operating hours. Stabilization treatments include IV fluids and emergency surgeries. For after-hours crises, we refer to trusted specialist hospitals for continuous care.
Cold Laser Therapy
Non-invasive pain management using low-level laser technology. This therapy reduces inflammation and accelerates healing for arthritis, post-surgical recovery, and soft tissue injuries. Sessions typically last 15-30 minutes.

I have been with GJVH for 34 years now and I wouldn’t dare trust anyone else with my babies. Dr Karen Kennedy and staff have cared for 5 of my babies. Four of them until their last day. Dr Kennedy sat with me each time I had to put one down due to old age. She’s been more than a Vet to me she’s been a friend. She’s placed a wonderful staff here and made this hospital a pioneering hospital in excellent healthcare! The whole staff are animal lovers who are patient, compassionate and sensitive to your individual needs! You and your baby will be safe and well cared for here

I just switched to Guilford Jamestown Veterinary Hospital and so glad I did. Dr. McCall is so sweet and very professional. After my dogs exam was over, she came out and thoroughly explained what she saw and the future plan for my pups treatment/prevention. Also, pricing is very reasonable. Even after only one visit, I would highly recommend GJVH for anyone looking for wonderful people to offer great treatment/ prevention for your four legged friends.

I was happy with the service my kitten got as a first time client. it is good prices, for what they offer, and the female vet was a nice person, everyone said how much they loved my kitten. I am definitely keeping them for my cats vet.
