Medication and prescription diet pick-ups (please give a 24 hour notice prior to picking up!). Back in February, we decided to be closed on Saturdays and temporarily stopped routine overnight boarding. For now we will continue to keep these changes in place. Our office hours are Monday through Friday 7:30am - 6:00pm.
We will still offer daycare and bathing services. We understand these changes may be inconvenient and can provide recommendations for other boarding facilities or petsitters. My name is Brooke Schwabenton Townsend, but most people just call me Dr. Brooke. I grew up here in Greensboro, NC- riding horses through Adams Farm back when it really was a farm! I left Greensboro for school- completing my undergraduate studies at Warren Wilson College outside of Asheville and then receiving my doctorate in veterinary medicine at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002.

Dr. Banker is a Fellow in the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry with over 30 years of advanced dental experience. Advanced dental care is available, including periodontal therapy, root canals, crowns and orthodontics. Dr. Banker was the first person in the Mid Atlantic States to become certified as a Fellow in the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry.

Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of twice yearly physical examinations. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners.

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, 'drop-off' appointments are available.
