We are a dedicated team of food and nutrition professionals committed to supporting students' health, well-being, and ability to learn. Our mission centers on providing healthy, well-balanced meals that meet USDA dietary guidelines while promoting lifelong nutrition and fitness practices. With over 6 million meals served annually, we prioritize accessibility, affordability, and appeal in our offerings. Our programs include the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program for elementary students, farm-to-school initiatives with local partners, and educational activities in 13 school gardens. We emphasize transparency in operations, compliance with federal civil rights laws, and equitable access to nutritious food for all students regardless of background.

Our team includes registered dietitians, nutrition specialists, and operations coordinators who ensure quality control across all meal services. Through partnerships with USDA and local organizations like OKC Beautiful/OKC Harvest, we continually expand opportunities for students to experience locally grown food. Our non-discrimination policy guarantees equal access to programs, and we maintain open channels for addressing concerns through formal complaint processes.

Services
School Meal Programs
We provide comprehensive breakfast, lunch, and snack programs for Oklahoma City Public Schools students and staff. Our meals meet USDA dietary guidelines with a focus on balanced nutrition and student health. All enrolled students receive meals at no charge, while adults pay $4.25 for standard lunch options. Our services operate across multiple school locations with consistent quality control.
Farm to School Program
This initiative connects students with locally grown foods through partnerships with Oklahoma farmers and OKC Harvest. We incorporate regional produce, bread, and dairy into school menus while providing educational experiences about food sources. The program includes cooking demonstrations and seasonal menu highlights to promote agricultural awareness among students.
Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program
Our FFVP introduces elementary students to a variety of fresh produce through tasting sessions and nutrition education. Funded schools receive weekly fresh fruit and vegetable samples, helping students develop healthy eating habits. The program includes educational materials about the nutritional benefits of different produce items throughout the school year.
Nutrition Education
We offer comprehensive nutrition education through cooking lessons, school garden programs, and classroom activities. Our 13 school gardens provide hands-on learning experiences about food production and healthy eating. Educational materials cover topics like balanced diets, food groups, and the importance of nutrition for academic performance.
School Garden Programs
Our 13 school gardens serve as outdoor classrooms for teaching students about plant growth, sustainable agriculture, and healthy eating. Students participate in planting, harvesting, and preparing fresh produce while learning about environmental stewardship. The gardens integrate with curriculum standards for science, nutrition, and environmental education across grade levels.

Paid summers... My experience would keep you at home however my experience isn't whats important... It is free public education. Start funding it properly and get with the Reggio Approach. We must make changes FAST. WE'RE LOSING TEACHERS TO OTHER CAREER FIELDS AND STUDENTS BECOME A STAT TAX PAYERS CRINGE ABOUT. be the resolution

I hate this school because the office never answer there phone, the students are disrespectful, and the teachers have smart mouths.
