Who We Are
Report
Sometimes we just need support for those rough periods in life. Challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, disordered eating and substance abuse are becoming more common in our changing times. Our ways of coping with these obstacles are all unique and need a personalized approach for lasting change.

My approach to therapy is figuring out who you are, what you want and how I can use what I have learned to help you figure out how to get there. I believe to my core, we all have the answers we need. That we are our own experts. We can spend too much time in our heads and allow others' opinions or expectations blur our ability to get real with ourselves.

My role is not to be the expert of your life, but to empower you to be the expert of your own. My goal in therapy is always to be strength-based and collaborative. My job is to support you with your identified goals. I am here to help you decide on the direction of your journey and support you on your path to get there.

Report
Positive growth in life flows when you can recognize vulnerability as an opportunity and discomfort as occasion for strength and resiliency. My role is to join individuals willing to take notice of these qualities and assist you in taking the next step. My approach incorporates curiosity, empathy, compassion and empowerment providing a space that is partly "figuring things out" and largely understanding our "response to things".

Your first session is a time to get to know your therapist and learn if you might feel comfortable meeting with them. For the first part of this meeting, you and your parent(s)/guardian(s) will meet with your therapist and answer general questions about your family, medical, social, school, treatment history, what your concerns are, and your hopes for therapy.
