Though leasing management seemed professional through emails; they were completely absent when it came to my scheduled appointment to view as a potential renter. Scheduled the appointment the week prior, was there 10 minutes early, and then waited passed my appointment, offices remained closed with a note on the door saying they were gone. Would have appreciated a call or an email, as I know the offices had this information since we had been in contact the week prior. Not a good first impression and totally turned me away from even looking at this location again considering I took time out of my

Not only does Thamesview put their tennants in a legal choke hold, but their leasing agreements utilize loopholes in federal and state laws to ensure they have the legal upper hand against their tennants in all cases. The office staff can be accusatory and entirely unhelpful in most situations, and are almost entirely incompetent. They promise to provide a great deal of utilities and appliances, but then give you the most minimalistic, outdated, low end, and broken equipment possible. Their staged pictures are deceitful and outright inaccurate. Save yourself the time and money, and find somewhere

The leasing people in the office are very enthusiastic about showing you the apartment and making the process of moving in so easy but fail to say the things that are wrong with the apartment. For instance, those buildings were built in 1975. (They need major renovations). They’re beautiful apartments and great for a first time apartment. There are more cons that I need to point out than pros for these apartments. It’s “apartment living” I get it, but you can’t sleep, you know your neighbors schedule, and you can even hear their conversations. The floor boards are horrible!!! & no person

DONT move here!!! All the girls in the office are terrible and rude they don’t help with anything, the guys that are suppose to “fix” things when you call never come. Then when you call again to see where they are days later they give you even more of an attitude. I’ve had people urinating and other disgusting things in my stairwell which they never cleaned, even after I called about it, I had to go into the office and threaten them with calling Chanel 3 news, all while a worker guy was screaming at me that he “can’t clean everything up” while I’m holding my 2 year old daughter

Do not sign a lease here they are making you wave your leagle rights to move if they mess up so when my unit got flooded by the upstairs neighbors in the winter I wanted to move out to a new place they said I couldn't they said I had to move to a new unit. I just can't wait to leave.

I've been here a year and a half and overall it's been a good experience so far. The heat doesn't work well but it is convenient to have free heat and hot water. I can hear all my neighbors and vice versa, but that's just part of apartment living. The staff is friendly and the maintenance people have always immediately addressed any issues I had. I certainly appreciate the pool during the summer and the option of a gym. There is also a picnic area where you can bbq and a playground/basketball court area. Snow plowing is timely and the laundry rooms are always clean. My security deposit was excessive

Thames view apartments do not work with you or do their job. Please if looking into a place to live look farther than here. They are on top of leaving notes in your door but won't check your date on your checks. Claiming to have too many apartments to be responsible for to look them all over. And once they wipe your accounts clean and leave you with nothing tell you that you're better off not paying them till you can and will threaten you with legal actions and fees. Not worth a head ache. And always in your business or making accusations. And once you have one month left they want to

Good luck! Maintenance staff is responsive however overworked and a tremendous backlog of outstanding work requests will prove to you that you're just not a priority unless it's a life/safety issue. Renters beware.

Additionally, in calendar year 2013 (i.e. at height of winter in January) you now have your building thermostatic control(s) set to 70 degrees.... and yes your apartment needs to drop down to 66 or 65 before the heat kicks in. The senior lady managing the property will read you the riot act about CT health code standards stipulating 65 degrees as the acceptable lower limit
