My heartburn superhero! Came to Dr. Metz because my heartburn and digestive issues were out of control. Traditional medicine just prescribed the over the counter crap that wouldnt work. I was in constant discomfort and unable to eat anything without horrible heartburn and bubble guts. Dr. Metz took her time with me during our consults and truly found out what was wrong with me. She took into account all the stresses in my life as well as other outside factor that could be affecting me. I've been working with Dr. Metz for the past year, and she has been the most helpful practitioner I've ever worked with. I have made so much progress resolving a variety of challenging health issues that Kaiser/Blue Shield were no help with and Eastern medicine made little progress on. I saw Dr. Metz for thyroid problems when Kaiser was not treating me properly. After spending almost $500 on an in person consultation and blood tests, Dr. Metz required me to have a $175 30 min phone "consultation" before she would give me an RX for the thyroid hormones I required. The hormones did not come with any refills, conveniently, which would have required me to reach out for another expensive consultation.
