I have always been over-the-top terrified of the dentist. Not any more! Dr. Arellano and his entire staff are amazing. I was not even nervous coming in for a more involved procedure than I had ever needed before. Pain management was perfect. The dental technician who does my cleanings (regular and deep) is fantastic. I am finally taking care of my teeth because of this practice, since I'm not longer afraid to get things done and have stopped avoiding the dentist. The front desk staff are wonderful too. If I could give this practice a million stars I would.

Dr. Arellano uses deceptive pricing practices to sneak in imaging without your permission and without checking to see how much your insurance will cover. His costs are 3x as much as a normal cleaning and exam from practices in more convenient locations and the cleaning is far less thorough. When asked about the surprisingly high pricing, I got no response from the office and have no choice but to warn others to go somewhere else.

I have had gum recession for years and was afraid to have surgery to correct it. A good friend recommended Dr. Arellano and, I went in for several dental cleanings before deciding to have the surgery done. He and his staff took very good care of me. When it was time for the surgery (three quadrants), I could tell the care he took with each step (including a big gum line filling). After the surgery, he and his office were easy to reach for any questions.

Unfortunately he is one of very few providers for a special treatment called an oral appliance for treating sleep apnea which causes me chronic fatigue during the day impacting my effectiveness at work and socially. Dr. Arellano and his staff were extremely accommodating, knowledgeable and kind. My insurance was running out at the end of the month and they made every effort to accommodate my schedule and get me in for everything that I needed, which turned out to be a lot!
The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Mei at the front desk responded promptly to the emails I sent and even made it a priority to let me know as soon as there were cancellations so I could take the appointment. She also was great at helping break down insurance and cost.

Dr. Arellano and his staffs are pros and with long experience. It’s your true dentist next door. You can see from pictures hanged on the walk that most, if not all, of his staffs have been working with him for ages. It speaks for itself for how well Arellano DDS PC is!
Have been patronizing this place for many years. Back then I used to live in the same neighborhood. Their service is so good that even after I moved to a new neighborhood that’s super far away from here I still continue to come here for all my dental care.

Recently I had a newer technique of gum surgery/grafting at his office called, "Pinhole Surgical Technique of gum grafting." I personally found this to be much easier to handle than the other style of gum grafting that I received years ago for the other side of my mouth. That worked, it was where part of my roof of my mouth was cut and surgically sewn onto the gum. However, I much prefer the pinhole technique

6 years since my last review of Dr. Arellano so it's time to update. In the past 6 years, Dr. Arellano has provided continuing excellent care to the Huz and me (with excellent assistance from Mei). We are moving out of state soon, and may get our teeth cleanings there, but we will definitely return to Dr. Arellano once or twice a year for follow up. We wouldn't even consider going to anyone else. Seeing Dr. Arellano and Mei will be well worth the plane tickets.

We've gone to Dr Arellano for many years and have never been disappointed with any of the work he's done. Recently my husband broke a tooth and Leo got him in and had the tooth repaired within a few short hours. Service like that is very hard to finds these days. His office staff is fantastic. Nice people you are always glad to see. I would highly recommend Dr Arellano to anyone who is searching for an honest, competent, well trained dentist.

I've been coming here since 2013 and had quite a few procedures done to repair years and years of not being able to see a dentist. I initially picked this place because it was far away from my office downtown at the time. One of the key features of this office is their glass atrium that looks out to a small enclosed garden. It's very relaxing and soothing to sit in the chair during long procedures and look outside or have natural lighting instead of a white-walled room with fluorescent lights.

MEH. OK everyone here is nice enough. Surely they are professional and doing their jobs. However when I first came there I told them I hadn't had health insurance so hadn't been to the dentist in awhile. So I had to have THREE cleanings instead of one which cost me an extra $700. The whole time I'm getting my cleaning I'm being lectured and asked questions by the hygienist (my mouth is open, you're using tools in it, why are you asking me to speak?!). How many lectures to floss do I need? At least once every single time I visit. And a demonstration on it every other time

For years I have gone down town for my dental cleanings thinking that the attention down there was the best.
Today I went for a cleaning with Annie Lam at the office of Leo Arellano. She was careful, attentive and very nice.
Although I am not a fan of teeth cleaning as I have gum recession, Annie made it easy and the staff throughout the office is cheerful.
Best of all is how CLEAN the teeth are now. WOW!

I went to Dr. Leo Arellano for an oral evaluation and a teeth cleaning. Dr. Arellano informed me that I had multiple cavities that needed to be filled. Because I was starting a new job, I decided to wait because I wanted to go to a dentist that was located near my new job. This morning I had an appointment at 10a or so I thought. At 9:15 I got a call from Mai asking me if I was on my way and I said I had not left yet as I thought my appointment was at 10a. When I went to dr Arellano I had been told by a periodontist that I needed to lose three teeth due to gum disease. I was also in constant pain. Dr Arellano acknowledged my panic and grief and suggested laser surgery.Now, two years later, I still have all my teeth and I even have bone regrowth on some of them! Debbie is my hygienist and she is fast, gentle and lovely to chat with. She also recommends home care specifics. I have gotten over my terror of dentists thanks to the amazing and caring staff at this office. This also includes Mae, the incredibly friendly and personable receptionist.

I went to Dr. Arellano from 1999 through 2007. I was pleased with his work and his staff. Unfortunately, in the beginning of 2007 he put in a crown for me (not the first) that had everything go wrong that could -- much pain and many visits. I was puzzled and surprised at how the quality of care went from very good to lousy.
I filed a greivance with my insurance company Delta Dental. Delta sent me to one of their dentist examiners who reported that the work was unsatisfactory. Delta reversed the $700 they paid Dr. Arellano.
