Brentwood Animal Clinic has been owned and operated by Dr. Philip C. Hightman since 1987. Dr. Hightman is a graduate of the University of Illinois. A few years after graduation, Dr. Hightman relocated to Jacksonville to be close to his family. Although Dr. Hightman is primarily a small animal practitioner, he has a strong love and respect for all of the animal kingdom.

Firstly, our pets can't speak, they cannot tell us if they feel off colour or unwell or have any other indicators of internal illness. We need to examine them every 6 months as well as run some routine screening tests to detect underlying disease BEFORE it is clinically apparent.
