Alaro Brewing
Centrally located in the heart of Midtown Sacramento in the historic location of one of Sacramento's first craft breweries, Alaro ranks as both, one of Sacramento's most heavily awarded breweries and one of the regions top-rated farm to fork restaurants. With the current county restrictions on indoor dining, Alaro created a warm, welcoming & comfortable outdoor dining experience.

So, you can now dine "al fresco" in any one of our three covered and heated patios! Being one of the best breweries in Sacramento is no accident. Brewing craft beer is our passion, built on over 30 years of combined brewing experience. We value elegance over gimmicks and believe that great beer is achieved by skillful design, talented execution and an uncompromising commitment to use only the best ingredients available.

Our Story
Report
The name "Alaro" is derived from the surname Ballestero dating back to medieval Spain when one Ramon Ballesteros was lord of the castle of Alaro and it's an honor to pay homage to our ancestral name. Located in the space where Rubicon Brewing Co was born, Alaro Craft Brewing now brings a great new vibe, a beautiful but casual interior & outdoor patio area and a super friendly staff to this time-honored space in the heart of Midtown Sacramento.

NEW BREWERY-RESTAURANT GROWS FROM OLD ROOTS You'd be forgiven if you couldn't keep track of the multiple brewery and restaurant openings in Sacramento last year. Sacramento Magazine recently reviewed a selection of some of the best desserts in Sacramento. Most breweries might have a fine reputation for their beverages but are less stellar with their food.
