The Guerrera family immigrated to the US in the late 60's from Carlantino, Italy, a small town bordering Roma, Italy. They were eager to bring traditional dishes to the Sacramento area. They opened the first family restaurant in Vallejo, CA in 1968. In 1973, the Guerrera family opened Roma's Pizzeria on Franklin Blvd in Sacramento, CA.
Tony literally grew up in the restaurant, playing and later working to help with the family business. Roma's has been operated for many years by Pietro (Pete) Pozzuto and his wife, Antoinetta. They've built a great tradition of pizza lovers and Tony is very thankful. They have retired howevver the business will be in good hands, as it's now owned by Tony Guerrera.
