I'm Abby, mom to two little boys, wife to my best friend, and a dedicated explorer who has never been steered wrong by following my heart. As a family photographer in Colorado, I find the magic happens when I work with families or couples who harbor the same passion for charting well-lived lives. Before becoming a mom, I traveled the world for work but never felt quite at home as I do here in the west.
From all I've seen and all I've experienced, I know that raising a family amidst the mountains is the very best adventure of all. Being a lover of all things wild and free, I allow my clients to choose their level of adventure. I am so happy that you stopped by and I sure hope to meet you in person one day soon. My name is Abby and while I grew up in Indiana, my heart truly belongs in the west and, most definitely Colorado. The mountains are where I feel most alive and I feel forever grateful for all the joys the alpine has brought me.
I am a mom. By default, I adore maternity photography and lifestyle newborn photography because I know just how important those incredible chapters are in the life of a mom. They are quick, they pass by without you ever realizing just how fast they are flying by. Maybe that's why I love this type of photography - it's a chance to capture the subtle and quiet moments that you will want to cherish forever and ever as your little kiddo grows up.
It can't get much more stunning than having a Colorado wedding or adventure elopement! There are so many spectacular places here - both traditional and off the grid - to get hitched - and I am ALL IN! We loved working with Abby! Beforehand she spent time helping us pick a location that would be perfect for our family. She really captured our children’s personalities beautifully. She let them play and explore like they normally do outside, which made the whole experience fun and free of all the stress that sometimes comes with family photos. The final pictures were so wonderful, we can’t wait to take family photos with Abby again.

I cannot say enough good things about Abby and her photography. I don’t love being in front of the camera; Abby made me feel so comfortable and made it effortless. She also was able to make my toddler feel comfortable and have a blast. She is fast, thoughtful…and the photos are incredible.

Abby is fantastic. When searching for maternity and newborn photographers I experienced a bit of sticker shock. I wanted someone willing to get outdoors with my family. Abby turned out to be not only affordable but so easy to work with. She captured our growing family beautifully and even allowed us to include our puppy. I cannot recommend her enough.
