De Art International
Founded in 2011 by David De Buck, De Buck Gallery focuses on contemporary artists, from emerging to mid career, and is deeply committed to supporting artists' growth through special projects and exhibitions. De Buck Gallery supports a vibrant contemporary program of narrative, identity-based art, primarily focused on figurative painting and innovative fiber work.

The gallery programming engages contemporary talent such as Devan Shimoyama, Stephen Towns, Hiba Schahbaz, Ronald Jackson, Tahnee Lonsdale, and Juan Garaizabal. Shows such as "Sweet" (2017) by Devan Shimoyama and "STOP PLAYING IN MY FACE!" (2016) by Rashaad Newsome demonstrate the gallery's cross-disciplinary approach with dynamic new multimedia programming and performance.

Stephen Towns
Report
Stephen Towns is a painter working primarily in oil, acrylic and fibers. His work explores how American history influences contemporary society. He aims to create a body of work exploring the African Diaspora, and draws much of his visual inspiration from Medieval altarpieces, impressionist paintings, and wax cloth prints.
Gommaar Gilliams
Report
Gommaar Gilliams is one of Belgium's most exciting contemporary painters. He was born in 1982 in Lier, Belgium. Graduating in visual arts from LUCA School of Arts in Brussels and having a Masters degree in Painting from PXL College in Hasselt, his large-scale paintings and textural wall hangings fuse American Abstract Expressionism with figurative elements derived from Middle Eastern to European symbolism.
