L.A. Sun spray Tan was created in 2013 by Dila Djokaj. What started as a mobile spray tan service quickly evolved as requests started coming in to go to wherever Dila was located. To keep up with the demand, L.A. Sun Spray Tan's downtown studio location was born. L.A. Sun Spray Tan has been listed in Allure Magazine as one of L.A.'s Top Glow Pros and numerous online articles including Racked LA and byrdie.com.

Dila's work has been seen in leading publications such as Cosmopolitan, Elle and Shape, and on the red carpet of major awards shows such as the Golden Globes, The Emmys & The Oscars. If this is your first time booking a spray tan with me, please read through the spray tan info page before booking your appointment. If you have a special event you are tanning for, it is recommended to schedule your appointment 1-2 days before. Spray tans take about 24 hrs to fully develop and every day after that it will fade a bit as your skin is naturally exfoliating.

We will decide on color and which solution to use. Once applied, you will need to leave it on your skin for a few hours before rinsing. With Express, you can rinse in 1-4 hours after your appointment, depending on how dark you'd like to go. The Standard solution has 3 different levels and requires at least 12 hours before rinsing.

The principle tanning agent used in all self tanning products is Dihydroxyacetone (DHA). This ingredient, which is derived from sugar beets, reacts with the amino acids in the skin to create the darkening or tanned appearance on the surface of the skin. The development of color takes anywhere from 2-4 hours and the intensity of color depends on DHA concentration in the product as well as each person's skin characteristics.
