Programs & Classes

Pathways are groups of related academic programs and disciplines. Each pathway includes several tracks that lead to degrees, certificates, and/or transfer opportunities to reach your educational goals. Track that enable students to complete required coursework prior to entering a program or school that will help them earn a degree in a licensed healthcare profession.
Degrees

Earn the first two years of your bachelor's degree at a fraction of the cost you will pay at a university or obtain a professional degree in a career you will love. Earning your AAOT at Chemeketa can fulfill the lower division general education requirements at any of Oregon's public four-year universities.
Training & Certificates

Find the specific skills you need to advance in your career. For example, we can help you run your farm more profitably or teach your teenager how to drive. Our Community Education program offers a wide range of fun, stimulating and skill-enhancing classes. If you don't see what you need listed, contact our Customized Training team who will work with you to design exactly the kind of instruction your organization needs.
Esol

Chemeketa offers day and evening classes to improve your ability to understand, speak, read or write in English. In addition to classes, ESOL students have access to workshops, advising and language and computer labs. Non-credit students must pay a non-refundable $95 fee when they register each term.
GED, HEP & Basic Skills

Whether you are looking to earn your GED as a youth, adult or even in Spanish, Chemeketa has options for you. If you are 18 or older, you may earn a high school equivalency certificate by passing General Educational Development (GED) tests in English or Spanish. There are four tests covering language arts (writing and reading), social studies, science, and mathematics.
