Just Walk is a worker-owned business providing dog walking services in Washington D.C. We believe dignity ought to have a central place in pet care for animals, for clients, and for workers. If you ask us, we'll tell you that we're very good at what we do, and we know that our clients will tell you the same.
But, for us, that's simply not enough. We founded Just Walk with the understanding that almost anyone is capable of providing the labor necessary to complete our day-to-day tasks, but that it's another thing entirely to be a trustworthy and reliable member of a companion animal's extended family. We believe that by creating and fostering a workplace of integrity, and respect, we also nurture an environment of reliability and commitment.

We love dogs and cats alike! Just walk offers drop in visits for your felines as well! This includes feeding, water refresh, litterbox cleaning, brushing, playtime and talking to the chattier cats. We understand that every cat is different, with needs that change, so we try to be flexible and gentle with our interactions!

Born and raised in the DC metro area, I've always been around dogs, from my family's spaniels to my aunts pack of show-winning golden retrievers. In early 2008, after completing a degree in social and cultural history from University of Maryland, I found my way into pet care as career!
In my spare time, I hang out with my own two dogs and cat, help manage a letterpress print shop, go on walks around the monuments at 2am and spend time at the beach.I was born and raised in sunny South Florida where I grew up playing in bands and taking the beach for granted. In 2011 I graduated from New College of Florida with a BA in social movent sociology.

It is totally fun! We all love our job, and we love being a part of your pet's life. However, we are a small growing business and we like to see pet care experience and a drive to stay with the business for a long time. We don't like a rotating cast of workers. We are committed to the business and the health and wellness of the animals we care for.
