We meet students from around the Seattle-metro area at our offices in the Green Lake neighborhood in north Seattle and Columbia City in south Seattle. For more information or to schedule an appointment to meet with a private tutor, please contact our team. Our Green Lake office is within walking distance from PCC, Green Lake Park, and the local branch of the Seattle Public Library, among many other resources.
Tutoring

We work with typical learners as well as those who have learning differences or attain accelerated placement. Our mission is to encourage all learners to realize their potential by cultivating the content knowledge, skills, and confidence to successfully achieve their goals. The best learning and growing takes place when a student feels safe, supported, and empowered.
Online Tutoring

Online tutoring helps students stay on track with a valuable connection to their own personal learning expert. Remote tutors can provide academic content help, ACT and SAT online tutoring, time management, and executive functioning coaching for young people and adults. Tutors work in all subjects, from math help to ADHD coaching.
Test Prep

LTLS provides standardized test prep for the ISEE, SSAT, HSPT, PSAT, SAT, and ACT. At LTLS, we have a unique approach to test prep. We seek to support students' intellectual and emotional growth by building foundational skills and instilling a sense of confidence around standardized testing. We focus on building self-esteem and relieving test anxiety by emphasizing study skills, time management, and organizational strategies.
Learning Differences

At LTLS, we strive to adjust content delivery to meet the needs of each of our students. During our onboarding process and continuing staff trainings, we focus on best practices for tutoring students with a variety of diagnoses and learning styles as well as the complexities of school. By guiding students to distinguish how they learn best, we build confidence toward better understanding and accepting their strengths and weaknesses.
