Spanish by Mary LLC is a private teacher and tutoring service. My goal is to educate people of all ages to learn a new language, improve their grades in school or to prepare for AP, IB, SIELE, DELE or National Spanish Examinations, all while having fun and gaining confident learning a new language and culture.

I'm originally from Lima, Peru. I have a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Translation and Interpretation from Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazn. Among my relevant skills are translating and interpreting English, French, and Spanish. I also obtained a Masters Degree in Student Development Administration from Seattle University.

The Spanish Tutoring sessions are designed for students at various levels of their academics (for example, Spanish 1, Spanish 2 or Spanish 3). From their first session, the students quickly and constantly improve their skills. I provide feedback to parents and update them about their students' progress, as well as inform them about areas that need improvement.

In the beginning of the year, I was struggling at my school with Spanish 2 but after taking classes with Mary, I can proudly say my Spanish has improved greatly. I ended up finishing that class with a high A and doing exceptionally well on my Spanish exams thanks to Mary's help. She is a great teacher because she uses patience and structured teaching to make sure the student understands difficult concepts.
