I am constantly amazed at the beauty surrounding us. My desire is to capture the light, dancing shadows, movement, expressions, and vivid colors that are on display to amaze us! I am fascinated with the light at the end of the day. When the evening sun is low and warm touching the tops of the sand-dunes and grasses of the marsh is the time of day I love best.
I am humbled knowing that what comes from my heart and soul has touched people who collect my pieces. This series of work is inspired by the layers of graphics found on billboards, urban walls, and other public spaces. Over time, bits and pieces of information are lost and overlapped, leaving the surface covered with textures and colors from a lifetime of stories.

Founded in 1982, the Lowcountry Artists Gallery is the oldest artist-owned fine art gallery in Charleston, South Carolina. Located in the historic French Quarter of downtown Charleston, this fine art gallery is managed and curated by nine nationally and internationally renowned artists, along with 20 guest artists exhibiting original paintings, photography, prints, sculpture, and jewelry.
