We are a contemporary and abstract gallery created by John Townsend's vision. John is a native of Charleston and grew up a few blocks from the gallery South of Broad in the historic downtown peninsula of Charleston. His life long creativity and love for art John started this gallery in 2002 along with his studio inside.
You will most likely find him creating and painting upon your visit to this amazing historic building that dates back to the 1860s. Julie Dunn is the gallery director who has been with the gallery since the opening and is also a mixed media artist and photographer. We curate the art for the gallery of some of the most talented artists from around the world.
