Our gallery space features a range of functional and sculptural ceramic artwork by local artists. The Retail Gallery and Custom Order Consultations are available by appointment, but walk-ins are welcome if the OPEN sign is up! For experienced ceramic artists, we offer studio space for rent. The studio includes access to pottery wheels, wedging tables, extruders & slab rollers, and other essential equipment.
One-on-one and group classes are available in both wheel thrown pottery and hand-building techniques. Classes are offered from beginner level to advanced methods. Our gallery, founded in 2011 features new local ceramic artists every month, and we have studio space available. We're open for group and one-on-one classes, and are available for custom ceramic work on commission.

I am an experienced potter who hails from the Washington, DC area. After receiving my undergraduate degree in Ceramics from Wittenberg University (Springfield, OH), I continued my education in Western Michigan where I spent another year apprenticing under Master Potter, Peter Johnson. I now have enjoyed owning, running, & being the lead teacher at my Fells Point, Baltimore studio for the last 9 years and counting!
Classes

ANG Pottery provides regular classes and group lessons. Classes are open and available to all ages and abilities. All wheel-based and hand-building classes are taught by trained instructor and owner: Andrew Goldstein or a trained ANG Pottery teacher. Private Parties and Paint-Your-Own-Pottery Classes can be arranged by appointment as well.

Studio Rental Space is available for all artists who prefer to explore their skills unsupervised and on their own time. Please reach out to ANGPottery[at]gmail[dot]com or call 443.902.0030 if you're interested. Clay (stoneware, earthenware, or porcelain) and Glazes (low, mid, or high-fire) are not included but can be purchased for retail price upon your request.
