Nutcracker
Report
In December we present our annual production of the classic Nutcracker ballet. This is a wonderful opportunity for those ballet students who really enjoy performing. Through rehearsing for and performing in the Nutcracker, participants are able to gain an appreciation for the time and effort involved in preparing for a show.
Annual Spring Showcase
Report
This year's Spring Showcase functioned very similarly to The Nutcracker Re-Imagined. Classes are filmed in the theater separately and the film is edited together as a cohesive story/performance. There is no dress rehearsal this year. Dancers will have the opportunity to practice the dance in the space before we film during their scheduled filming time.
The Philadelphia Youth Ballet

The Philadelphia Youth Ballet (PYB) was founded in the fall of 2011 to inspire dedicated young dancers by providing them with a professional training environment and additional performance opportunities. PYB rehearsals and performances present an opportunity for young dancers to develop their artistry and build confidence, enhancing the technical precision demanded in their daily technique classes.

This program is designed to cultivate the joy for ballet in our youngest dancers while introducing them to the format of a dance class. The use of music, props, and imagination keeps students engaged while they learn basic ballet vocabulary.
