Ballet
Our ballet program offers 10 levels of graded technique with emphasis on proper placement, alignment, and port de bras. Students develop strength and grace through barre work, center combinations, and en pointe training by invitation. The curriculum prepares dancers for professional careers while maintaining accessibility for recreational learners.
Acrobatics
Acro Arts certified instructors teach progressive stretching and strengthening techniques parallel to gymnastics. Students master cartwheels, walkovers, and advanced stunts while building flexibility and body awareness. Classes are offered from beginner to advanced levels with specialized Jr. and Sr. Advanced divisions for competitive tumbling.
Hip Hop
Contemporary hip hop classes explore multiple styles including street dance and performance choreography. Students develop rhythm, coordination, and improvisation skills while learning current trends and foundational techniques. Jazz training is recommended to enhance hip hop performance capabilities through complementary movement vocabulary.
Pre-Ballet
Designed for ages 5-7, this two-level program introduces ballet fundamentals through playful activities. Students learn proper alignment, basic positions, and classroom etiquette at the barre and center floor. The curriculum prepares young dancers for Ballet I while fostering coordination and spatial awareness in a developmentally appropriate format.
Pas De Deux
Ballet students in Level III and above receive specialized training in classical partnering techniques. Instruction covers lifts, jumps, and turns with focus on balance and synchronization. Advanced students work on pas de deux repertoire from traditional ballets, developing performance skills through collaborative artistry and technical precision.

What age groups do you accept for dance classes?
We offer classes for dancers aged 3 through adult, with specific programs tailored to different developmental stages from combination classes for young children to advanced training for pre-professional students.
Do you offer competitive dance opportunities?
Yes, our Competition Team accepts students through auditions, offering local, regional, and national competition experiences. Team members participate in solos, duets, trios, and group performances across multiple dance styles.
What are the dress code requirements?
Standard dress code includes black leotards with specific tights and shoes per discipline. Ballet requires pink tights and ballet shoes, while hip hop allows comfortable clothing. Detailed dress code policies are available for each dance style.
How do I register for classes?
Registration is available online through our Parent Portal. Review tuition rates and dress code policies before enrolling. Class ages are determined based on the child's age as of October 31 of the school year.
Do you provide performance opportunities?
Our annual Spring Recital showcases student progress with choreographed routines. Participation requires costume purchase, ticket sales, and attendance at dress rehearsals, though recital participation is not mandatory for class enrollment.

When I started my little 3 year old at dance, I just picked the local studio. I knew absolutely nothing about dance or LOWE. Well, we hit the jackpot. Very professional dance education. Miss Suzanne runs a tight ship but is so understanding with any issues that you are having at dance and at home. My daughter has a second family at Lowe. We are so happy 12 years later to have picked LDS

Coming to Lowe Dance Studio when I was 16 years old was easily the best decision Ive ever made for myself as a dancer. Flash forward 5 years, now living my dream as a professional dancer in Los Angeles, I know for a fact that there is no possible way for me to have gotten to this point without each and every faculty member and friend I had in that building. I was taught responsibility, discipline and teamwork! These things go beyond dance steps, and are rare lessons to be taught at a studio. Lowe Dance Studio is the greatest and most professional dance studio you could enroll in. The technical training is top notch and the teachers are knowledgable and kind. This studio has given me a second family and is the reason that I'm able to pursue my professional dance career in New York City. The training (and life lessons!) I received at Lowe prepared me for the real world and the rest of my life. I recommend this studio for all ages and for those looking to dance for fun OR as a career. The years I spent at Lowe were the best and most formative years of my life.

I have been impressed with Lowe for two years now. Not only do they provide a welcoming environment for the dancers and their families including events outside of their normal classes, but theyve adapted to Covid-19 better than most facilities Ive interacted with. The one time I had a concern they took it seriously and responded quickly. My daughters (even the toddler too young to dance) feel a sense of belonging there. Im very happy with the choice our family made to send our girls to Lowe!

My daughter absolutely loves this Dance school & the instructor's. Especially during this pandemic she is able to safely get out & enjoy time with the other children/dancers in person in the classes. Highly recommend Lowe to anyone looking for a studio in the area! I was a student there for my entire childhood. Incredible teachers who are skilled in technique and education. Dancers are treated like family, and bonds are created that will last a lifetime! Great opportunity for dancers who would like to pursue a career, and the perfect environment to grow up in for those who choose to dance as a hobby (like myself). I would recommend Lowe 1,000 times!!
