Diana feels fortunate to have met some extremely passionate and caring teachers in her life. Mr. Hance, her 7th grade language arts teacher, delighted her with his lessons on sentence diagramming. The concepts that she learned from him remain crystal clear in her head. She was also intrigued when heard she heard her history professor, Leon Litwack, deliver his first lecture on American history.
AP Prep

For the past 11 years, we have been preparing students for AP exams using our curriculum. Our approach is to combine content understanding and test-taking strategies to help students attain results. For example, we helped a student who was self-studying for the AP Physics exam and received a 5 after personalized sessions with our physics specialist.
Sat / Act

Students from all over the Bay Area and Southern California seek our instruction. We are primarily known for preparing students efficiently rather than dragging out the process. Diana is the head SAT and ACT tutor. She has taught over 1,000 students and has been teaching the SAT and ACT every week for the past 10 years.

We find that the three biggest obstacles to learning are a student's belief that math is boring, math is impossible, or math is irrelevant. Our teaching philosophy is to make math interesting by engaging the students, make math possible by presenting it in the right way, and make math relevant by emphasizing the practical applications of math.

We believe the study of English makes us better readers and writers of human experience. To that end, our goals are to promote critical thinking and creativity, engage the students' interest, demonstrate the relevance of reading and writing to their lives, and support each student as an individual learner.
