
Our organization is comprised of a growing network of education professionals, tutors, parents, community members, grass roots organizations, business leaders and retirees. Each with a shared willingness to invest in the future prosperity of San Francisco Bay Area students, adult learners and residents.
We provide parents, schools, school districts and strategic partners with access to trained trustworthy and culturally sensitive academic tutors. We create innovative intervention and enrichment after schoolprograms, camps and workshops which focus on STEAM, ELL, Common Core, Computer Science and Test Prep to compliment public, private and home school academic instruction.

Our core areas of expertise are all levels of math tutoring, English, science, SAT Prep, AP Exam prep, reading comprehension, and computer science literacy. Our tutors are college students, recent college graduates, college professors, teachers, corporate professionals, and retirees from various fields of industry.

Bay Area Tutoring Association was born from the shared desire of tutors, parents, students, community members and business leaders to invest in the future prosperity of the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. The mission of Bay Area Tutoring Association is to develop an academic tutoring workforce for the support of Common Core Math, Literacy, Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), STEM, Computer Science intervention, and enrichment programs and services.
We collaborate with parents, teachers, educational leaders, school sites, districts, CBO's, non-profits, foundations, and other organizations for the development of growth mindsets and life-long learners of Bay Area students in grades K thru 12.

Services
Report
Online after-school learning pods and one-to-one tutoring are focused on school work and aligned with work in the classroom. Older students will benefit from our College Readiness Academic Mentoring (CRAM) and College Exam Test Prep programs. We also have caregiver support pods to help you support your child's learning especially online.

Learning loss from remote learning more greatly affects low-income, black, and Hispanic students. Your donation to our General Fund helps keep the organization running and allows us to use your donation where it's needed most. Provide culturally responsive academic coaching to children of African American essential workers.
