The Sterling Basketball Academy aspires to be one of the elite youth basketball development programs in Los Angeles. We offer comprehensive skill training and prepare our players for advanced competition. We also put our work to the test as Sterling Basketball Teams compete in various club leagues and tournaments.

There are many organizations that focus on the team OR the individual. We place equal emphasis on both and use a system that allows us to reinforce the team and individual concepts that we teach at all times. We built this program to develop the complete player. We focus on every detail and believe that if you expect more, children tend to deliver and achieve more.
Team

Sterling Basketball teams are reserved for players with more advanced skills. Our goal is to watch our teams play together and grow together over multiple seasons. We demand a greater commitment from team members, and request that Sterling Team activities take priority over other non-school related activities/athletics during the season.
Academy

We strongly believe that the inclusion of a complete strength and conditioning program is essential to player growth. We customize our conditioning plans to the appropriate age groups and focus on the development of core strength and endurance which makes a significant difference in improving overall performance.

We accept children from ages 5-17. Players should have some basic skills to be able to participate in the open skills clinics, but we recognize that our job is to help players improve. Often, for less experienced players, we recommend private sessions to gauge their talent level and identify whether they ready for our clinics.
