I entered the counseling field to help people. But really, it was and is so much more than that because I certainly could have helped people in any number of other careers. What I desire most is to be with people in their pain and suffering. I am passionate about working with people who have experienced some kind of trauma, childhood abuse, domestic abuse, and have issues with self-worth or self-esteem.

I have a few different specialties, the first being postpartum depression and anxiety. Having a very difficult labor and deliver experience of my own, I understand the challenges of having a baby and adjusting to parenthood afterward. I also understand how traumatic this experience that was supposed to be beautiful and memorable can be, and how hard it can be to work through all those emotions.
