Il Casaro Pizzeria & Mozzarella Bar which opened it's first location in San Francisco's historic Italian district of North Beach in March of 2014, Opened it's second location San Francisco's lively Castro District June of 2019, has redefined quality pizza for the neighborhood. Our philosophy stems from a simple Italian reality that pizza should always be affordable and accessible for everybody and anybody.
Our perfect Napolitan style pizza recipe consists of caputo flour imported from Naples and San Marzano tomatoes with D.O.P certification (protected designation of origin). This special kind of D.O.P tomato can only be found in 41 Italian municipalities in the province of Naples, and we wouldn't dream of having our sauce prepared with any other sort.
