I currently reside in lovely Colorado Springs. My computer skills come from personal experience and research, and of course, much trial-and-error testing on my own computer equipment.
Every program I install for you is one that I have used on my own computers. Most of these I've used for many years, such as Microsoft Security Essentials and OpenOffice.org. Due to this long-time familiarity, I am completely confident in the security programs and other software I install. There has never been a security breach or breakdown on my computers that I haven't been able to fix.

Replacing your existing hard drive with a solid state drive (SSD) can have a huge impact on its operating speed. I'll put you on my calendar for a scheduled cleaning every three to six months, depending on your preferences. When the time comes, I'll call or text you in advance to make sure the timing still works for you.

CM&U now offers a subscription plan for keeping your computer(s) clean and optimized throughout the year! The way this works is fairly simple. There is no extra fee beyond my regular hourly rate to be on this schedule. Most of these clean/optimize sessions will take an hour or less, so the cost will usually be $50 or less.
Bloatware Removal

Bloatware is the name for all those unwanted trial programs that came with your new computer. You're allowed to use them for while, then they stop working until you register them or pay for them. A few examples of bloatware are paid subscription antivirus programs, video editing tools and dial-up Internet software.
Remote Access

There are a variety of excellent, secure remote access programs that I can use to work on your computer from my location. I will never charge an extra fee for remote access, nor will I access your computer without your permission. Remote access programs allow me to see your computer screen and use your mouse and keyboard.

Over time, your Windows or Apple Mac computer can begin to run slower and suffer from more errors than it did when it was new. Viruses and adware/spyware can severely impact how quickly your computer operates. Sometimes an operating system re-installation is just what the doctor ordered!
