I decided to write a review in response to the other Yelp user who called the founder a "disinterested snob" and issued a few other insults. I wouldn't consider myself a friend of the founder, Mrs. Jensen (whom I can only assume is the founder who the nasty review was about). I haven't spoken with her since I was 12 or 13 years old when I attended her school over 10 years ago. I found Mrs. Jensen to be very kind and deeply passionate about what happens to her school and the children in it. I had a fantastic teacher while I was at journey, Mrs. Jackson, who did a wonderful

We highly recommend this school. They have been so wonderful and the virtual classes were streamlined and easy for our child to navigate. Dr. Taggart and her team helped us understand the curriculum and academic planning enabled our daughter achieved her maximum potential.

A friend told me about Journey, so I did some research. Being in the food industry, I work Tuesday thru Saturday and am off Sunday and Monday. Journey's school week is only mandatory Tuesday through Friday, so I'm able to send my daughter to Chinese school on Saturdays without feeling like a tiger mom sending her kid to school 6 days a week. It's perfect! My daughter is in kindergarten and what I love about this school is the small class size. They also teach all grades their subjects at the same time, so if a child is more accelerated, he/she can go to one of the upper grades and

In this day-in-age, it is rare to say that a school can honestly make a difference in your kids life - - let alone the life of the parents. Journey will do just that. The small student teacher ratio and the unique approach to learning has made us a very happy family with an even happier second grader (boy). We tried other private, more expensive, schools that seemed to be the "in" schools to go to - - but the approach was very regimented and along the lines of "do it our way or the high way". Journey takes a different approach and they determine whats best for each kid - - something achievable

Our son has blossomed here for the past three years. He started at a more military style private school (won't name) that had him as a "problem/disturbance". Turns out he is super smart but learns differently. Journey Education believes in teaching to each child's strength and weakness so the children move around all day to their ability. If they excel in one subject, they move ahead and if need more help, they have an enrichment class everyday to help them succeed. The teachers are amazing and care so deeply for each child. Our family has traveled more than most and out of all of our adventures with school I would have to say Journey has been the best! We have tried the nontraditional Montessori, Waldorf, etc. only to miss some of the structure and order that are kids needed. Then we went to public magnet schools and by far this has been the best experience so far. Small class sizes give individual attention to those who are excelling or are struggling. Having a faith based approach where they get to pray before class everyday is heartwarming, especially with all of the division that our country is experiencing right

I joined the administration and staff at Journey Education two years ago this May. My experience has been exceptional. Journey Education is a class act in every way from the curriculum, down to the standards and values that are taught, and lived, every day. No child is just a "number" at Journey Education. Staff members know each student, individually, and are committed to helping all students prepare for high school, college and the work force. I love Journey Education and I am happy to be a part of such a caring team of educators and administrators.
