We founded Pigeon Hill Brewing Company on the ideals of community, tradition, and great beer. From the beginning, we believed that a taproom should be a community gathering space, steeped in location tradition, and fueled by pints of excellent craft beer.

In 2014, Pigeon Hill Brewing Company opened our doors in downtown Muskegon with more elbow grease than capital, and more determination than experience. As a testament to our love of Muskegon and its history, our taproom became a living museum, with lights from historic Muskegon foundries, tables built from lumber era pine, and decorations celebrating Muskegon and its rich brewing history.

At Pigeon Hill, we are strong believers in, and supporters of, our community. As you can imagine, we receive many donation requests; therefore, we have created guidelines to help us in supporting those around us. As a general rule, we prefer to support causes that directly impact Muskegon and the greater lakeshore community.

Located at our Production Facility at 895 4th Street in Downtown Muskegon (the big blue building), the Brewer's Lounge blends a mix of traditional taproom seating and a chance to sit amongst the towering stainless steel tanks. Much like the community taverns of early American history, the Brewer's Lounge is a community gathering space.

From the beginning, Pigeon Hill grew from and embodied the community surrounding us. As we say, "Muskegon is a town that takes care of our own." Just as Muskegon gave rise to Pigeon Hill, we are excited to play a role in the rebirth of this incredible city - and to export its beer throughout Michigan.
