Dave was born in Grand Rapids and went to school both in Kalamazoo, as Bells Brewery was starting, and in Germany, where a love of Bavarian Bier und Kulture was solidified. With nearly two decades in the beer and hospitality industry, Dave is thrilled to no longer be wearing a tie to work.

We believe in our community. Through our fundraising, donations and Community Give Back program, we believe that we can make our world a better place and that together, we're building something wonderful together. This is the only method of making requests and we will review and respond if we are able to assist.

We've traveled the world and spent years researching Bavarian, German, Bohemian and American brewing traditions as these styles have been enjoyed for hundreds of years. We find them to be best enjoyed over a warm conversation with friends. For the enjoyment of everyone, we also offer our house Vino131 wines along with cider and sangria from our small winery.
