Discover Alaskan Adventures is owned and operated by Chris Worley, You can check out my bio below for more details. Friends and experienced fishing guides, I decided to go out on our own when the owners of the lodge I worked for, who were like family to me, decided it was time to retire from the lodge game.

This smooth riding 28 foot Boulton is powered by a 300 horsepower Suzuki as well as a 20 horse kicker for smooth salmon trolling. This 28 foot Alumaweld offshore is the opitamy of halibut fishing in Ninilchik. Designed especially for this fishery it is powered by twin 150 Yamahas and will get you out to the fishing ground in a hurry!

The weather in Alaska seems to be bi-polar in the summers, the best advice we can give is plan for the worst and expect the best so layers is the best option. Start your day with waterproof boots, pants and jacket. Underneath a couple layers that end in a comfortable T shirt to soak up some of those AK rays on a gorgeous summer day!

Halibut fishing is an exciting action packed pursuit, suitable for all anglers. Generally the only complaint we receive from our clients is being tired of reeling in fish. Located in the town of Ninilchik, Discover Alaskan Adventures fishes the beautiful and protected waters of the Cook Inlet. The Cook Inlet experiences the second biggest tide changes in the world.
