Captain Al Sherman has guided halibut fishermen on Cook Inlet Alaska for 25 years. He is an incredibly good halibut fisherman that has intimate knowledge of the local water. He is known for consistently catching racks of large halibut, and then shrugging it off like it's no big deal. Captain Al owns and operates the "A&M", a 2008, blue 28 foot North River.

Catching a daily limit of halibut is pretty normal on our fishing charters. That's what makes Alaska fishing so incredible! Halibut average 20-50 pounds but catching heavier fish is common. Every year our customers have caught halibut in the 200-300 pound range! Come fishing with us and be prepared to go home with many pounds of delicious halibut fillets!.

Travel by boat to the west side of Cook Inlet and dig for clams along the isolated razor rich beaches. There are no clam limits and the razor clams are huge!. Come experience a unique Alaskan adventure digging razor clams on the west side of Cook Inlet. This adventure is a local favorite! Razor clams are delicious and extremely plentiful on the isolated western clam beaches.

Gotta Fish lodging is not big and fancy. We don't serve gourmet meals. We don't have a hot tub. Heck, we don't even have televisions! What we do have is affordable, clean, relaxing lodging away from the highway but right near the village of Ninilchik. Our facilities are not rustic Alaskan bush camping, nor are we a 5 star hotel.
