Studio 6a Dance Academy

Studio 6a Dance Academy was founded to create a compassionate environment that ministers to the community through the joy of dance. Our mission focuses on developing well-rounded dancers, challenging students to become stronger athletes, and providing performance opportunities for all ages. With over 30 years of cumulative experience in dance as a student, performer, choreographer, and instructor, our director brings deep expertise to every class. We prioritize age-appropriate music, tasteful movement, and family-friendly ideals, ensuring a traditional approach to classroom etiquette through our leotard and tights dress code. Our facility features a Harlequin Cascade Marley vinyl surface and a basket-weave sprung sub-floor, designed to reduce injury risks and enhance performance.

We serve dancers of all ages and abilities in a culturally diverse environment, emphasizing both technical skill and personal growth. Our commitment to excellence extends to our annual recital, which showcases students' progress and passion. We offer trial lessons and studio tours by appointment, ensuring personalized attention for every prospective student. Our team's extensive experience and dedication to dance education establish us as a trusted leader in the Plano community. We strive to make dance accessible through flexible class levels, competitive pricing, and opportunities for both recreational and advanced dancers.
