My son was in a regular public school in Florida and not doing well. The public school was not able to meet the needs of a dyslexic child. The public schools for that matter will not even say the word bc they seem to not even recognize it in FL. We picked up and moved our whole lives so he could attend Tampa Day School. It was the best decision we ever made. His began in January and his reading skills have made great gains since then. As a parent who has struggled with the public system, I HIGHLY recommend Tampa Day. While it does cost to go there, there may be scholarship options if your child

Incomparable. Highly trained professional teachers that have knowledge of all things ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety and autism spectrum. The child who hates school will get a love of learning. They keep it fun and hands-on.

This school not only educates in the unique way that each child learns, it builds self esteem and character in each child that attends. I sent my son to this school 32 years ago and now he is a successful businessman and excellent father of two exceptional little gentlemen. One of his boys attends Tampa Day School now and it has changed his life in the same way it changed his Dad. If your child marches and learns to a different beat, send them here. It's TOTALLY WORTH WHATEVER IT TAKES!!!!!

My son started here in fourth grade, after what seemed like 10 years of fighting with the public school system. If you are looking at this review, you have probably experienced similar frustrations. My son is a sweet and bright kid, but did not learn in the "traditional" sense. By that I mean constant standardized tests and a curriculum that didnt allow for any meaningful interaction with his teachers.
We were skeptical of this school and lets face it, its not cheap, but it has literally changed our lives. The classrooms are small enough to give your child real attwntion and they understand challenges

This place is good for Elementary school, and the teachers are pretty good, but it's not cheap to go here. Not to discriminate the teachers or the staff, the campus is rather small and cramped. It's a good school for Elementary kids, but I never went to middle school here. Overall, this school is one you might want to try out.
