Bikini line is a basic tidy, we wax the sides (called your panty line) and across the top. If you're wearing a bikini, this will prevent any hairs from "peeking out". Bikini (full) is the next step and allows you to take off as much or as little hair as you like off the front. If you want to leave a small "landing strip", triangle or nothing at all, it's up to you!

I was born in London, England and have over 20 years experience in the beauty industry. My training was at Steiner Beauty School in London where I studied massage, nails, skincare and hair removal. I graduated with a triple license in massage, manicurist and beauty therapy (full esthetician) and got a great position at The Berkeley Spa, one of London's top spas.

This occurs because hair is being removed at the root, which weakens the hair. Constant waxing over time can even cause it to stop growing all together. So when it's "that" time again, the hair regrowth will be finer and softer, not rough and coarse as with shaving. Often it is also lighter meaning you can go longer in between wax appointments.

This may be uncomfortable for those getting waxed for the first time, but resist that urge to shave! Hair must be at least 1/4 of an inch long in order to wax, longer for certain hair types. This is usually around 1 to 2 weeks before your appointment. Also, remember to breathe! It's natural to be nervous, but it's going to be over shortly and you're going to love the results.
