Founded in 2005 in historic Fairhaven, Washington, Sirena Gelato was started by our family to strive to produce the highest quality product available, made in the heart of Bellingham. In 2011, we opened our second location in beautiful downtown Kirkland, Washington. We had a 3rd generation gelato maker from Italy train us in the art of making gelato.
Most of our fruit flavors are fat-free, dairy-free sorbets made from delicious seasonal favorites. Our dairy-based flavors are made with exotic ingredients, including Turkish imported organic hazelnuts, premium black cocoa chocolate, and slow roasted pistachios. Every batch of our gelato is made the old-fashioned way, hand scooped and hand decorated, one pan at a time.

Sirena Gelato uses a local dairy for our milk, free of growth hormones, as well as seasonal fruit purees. We also make dairy-free flavors. The creaminess of our product comes from density instead of fat. Most ice cream on the market contains upwards of 18% butterfat, but our milk-based gelato flavors contain only 4-8% fat, and our fruit flavors less than 1%.
