Southminster School is a private, Christian school serving children 18 month olds through 5th grade. The school was founded in 1990 by Southminster Presbyterian Church as an early childhood program. Over the years, the quality of our school and its loving Christian environment prompted our school families to encourage Southminster Presbyterian Church to expand its program to include an elementary school.

Our registration process is now online! To submit an application, please start HERE. Southminster Preschool registration packets are available for pick up in our school office. We invite you to come and tour our amazing school and pick up your packet. Please fill out all the information, including current immunization record (No Conscious Exemptions will be Accepted) Physician's statement and Tuition Express form and return to the school office.
Elementary
Report
Southminster School's elementary program began in 1999 with an initial kindergarten class. The school has expanded through fifth grade and also includes Pre-Kindergarten, Bridge, and Outclasses. Our low student-to-teacher ratio, coupled with teacher expertise, further students' successes in our challenging, multi-sensory program.
Curriculum
Report
Children at Southminster School learn about the world God created and how God provides for them through His creation. They participate in chapel services where Bible stories teach about God and Jesus. They worship God together with their classmates, expressing thanks for God's love and care. Children take comfort in learning that they can talk to God whenever they want and wherever they are.
Staff

Southminster School is dedicated to providing highly qualified teachers with diverse backgrounds, talents, and areas of expertise who are committed to developing our students- mind, spirit, body. Each homeroom teacher holds a teaching certificate, participates in annual continuing education, and maintains CPR and First Aid certification, however many have earned advanced degrees and certifications as well.
