A whole-home energy upgrade expert, NOT just insulators! From the start of our remodel, I was looking for a state-of-the-art insulator that could think beyond "how many fiberglass batts". This is the ONLY company on the SF Peninsula that I found that delivered that and MORE. Out of the 3 quotes I got, SDI was the ONLY one that was priced with the others that offered energy knowledge and a whole-home approach to energy efficiency. The ONLY one. The two other consultants I called did not do business past the east bay.

GREAT company to work with. Pamela came over, measured and scheduled the installation. Alfredo called to follow up on and confirm our appointment twice. Crew came in and did our small bedroom under 2 hours. They were quick and neat. Highly recommend SDI Insulation. They were FABULOUS!

I spent a fortune on sound proofing insulation and it made zero difference. Asked for a refund and they wouldnt accommodate. I was promised it would block sound like a sound studio and its literally no different. Dont spend the money or go elsewhere, this was a very disappointing investment.

We saw an SDI Fireplaces advertisement on the KRON 4 TV channel. We have been in our home for 35 years and never used our living room wood-burning fireplace. We have a gas fireplace in our family room and wanted one in our living room as well. Cost was a huge concern as the gas main is on the opposite side of the house where the fireplace is (approximately 60 feet of gas line). I had received estimates of $4,000 and $5,000 just for the gas line install. This was way over budget and we were about to forget the idea. Excellent job.. I cant say enough about this Company. When they arrived they rolled out plastic on driveway for protection. Backed Truck up onto the plastic. Great crew. They cleaned up perfectly. They sealed our attic with foam. Project manager even stop by to check on job. Job WELL done.
