We've recorded 100's of CD's since 1985. Singers, songwriters, and bands of all kinds - metal, hip hop, folk, blues, jazz, even Mariachi Karaoke. We are located next to a very fun musical instrument store, Loud and Clear, and they often have gear you can use on a session. We also write and produce audio for businesses - radio and TV ads, narration, podcasts, jingles, audio books, on-hold marketing, and everything else.

Zone Recording Studio, has various configurations for vocalists, singer/songwriters, and bands. You are looking at the drum room in the middle, the amp isolation room on the right, and another isolation room and the tape vault on the left. The drum room converts to our vocal and voiceover booth. The large control room can accommodates various players.
Mix & Master
Report
Some clients record their basic tracks in Nashville, (or anywhere in the world) and come to Zone Recording Studio to overdub and mix. Home recordists will either bring us their rough tracks to mix, or their finished tracks for us to master. Balancing the volumes, the tones and placement of all the musical parts is like painting a portrait - it is supposed to sound like something specific.

We have a huge collection of sound effects, a great production music library, a staff of arrangers and access to all kinds of voice talent.

In the old days, (we've been doing this since 1985) we edited music on reel to reel tape using a razor blade and splicing tape. It was amazing how good we got at it. Well it's even more amazing what we can do these days in a computer. We can change the speed and musical key, loop sections, play music backwards, even change an explicit rap song to a radio ready version.
Transfer Services

We can transfer any vinyl record, (33's, 45's, 78's) reel to reel tape, 8 track tape, micro cassette or cassette to CD, then make copies with a custom label. Some of our most precious memories are stored as audio. In the 1940's, department stores had recording booths that made a 78 RPM record.
During the 60's, many people recorded on 3 inch reels, sent them overseas, perhaps to a soldier, where their loved one would listen, and then record a response and send it back.Your audio can be improved by removing pops, clicks, crackle and hiss, using state of the art digital noise reduction software.
