Due to the rise of Delta variant cases in the county, and in accordance with the CDC recommendations for reducing transmission, properly worn face masks are now mandatory. This applies to coaches, independent instructors, Viva staff and students, both vaccinated and not vaccinated, at all times, whether in private lessons, group classes, or at parties.

Parker Amsel is a co-owner of Viva Dance Studio in Cleveland, Ohio. He trained in gymnastics and martial arts for 15 years before starting ballet, modern, and ballroom in college. He has been teaching most styles of competitive ballroom and social partner dance, including theater arts, since 2007. Rebecca Sweet is a co-owner of Viva Dance Studio and is a studio management consultant.
Private Lessons

Whether you want to improve your social dancing or become a competitive ballroom dancer - our instructors will help you make it happen! Our private lessons are 45-min long one-on-one customized lessons that will help you improve faster and concentrate on your specific dance goals. We currently offer lessons in person at the studio (all lessons are taught with masks on for both students and instructors) as well as Virtually over Zoom.
Group Classes

Our group classes are currently limited to 16 people - 8 leads and 8 follows (the sign up links are marked "leads" or '"follows", please make sure you are signing up for the role you would like to learn!) We're offering in-person classes for groups of 4-8 people. These are scheduled at your group's convenience & personalized based on your group's interest & dance level.
